Terms of service

1. The service
CrawlSentry ("the service") is provided by GetInput Oy (business ID 3576055-2), Helsinki, Finland ("we"). It periodically checks web pages you add for changes to SEO-relevant settings and certificate/domain expiry, and emails you when it detects one. By creating an account you accept these terms.
2. Your account
You sign in with a one-time link sent to your email. Keep access to that mailbox secure; you're responsible for activity on your account. The service is intended for businesses and professionals.
3. Acceptable use
- Only monitor sites you own, operate, or are authorised to monitor.
- Don't use the service to overload, probe, or attack any site, or to get around plan limits.
- We may suspend accounts that break these rules or put the service at risk.
4. Plans and payment
- The Free plan is free. Paid plans (Hobby, Agency) are billed monthly in advance through Stripe at the price shown when you subscribe, plus VAT where applicable.
- Subscriptions renew automatically each month until cancelled. You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel anytime from Billing in the dashboard; cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period.
- Payments already made are not refunded for partial months, except where required by law.
- We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice by email; the new price applies from your next renewal after that.
- If payment fails, your account may return to the Free plan, and URLs above its limit are paused.
5. No guarantee of detection
We work hard to catch every relevant change, but checks run on a schedule (pages hourly, certificates and domains daily), we read only the HTML a server returns without running JavaScript, and third-party data sources (certificate logs, RDAP) can be incomplete or delayed. Alerts can therefore be late, missed, or occasionally wrong. The service is a safety net, not a replacement for your own release checks. It is provided "as is".
6. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost traffic, rankings, revenue or profits, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before it arose. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.
7. Your data
You keep all rights to your data. We process personal data as described in our privacy policy. You can delete URLs anytime, and delete your account from the dashboard (Delete account).
8. Changes and termination
We may update these terms; for material changes we'll email you at least 30 days in advance. You can stop using the service and cancel anytime. We may end the service with 30 days' notice and refund any prepaid period not used.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Finland. Disputes are resolved in the Helsinki District Court, unless mandatory consumer law gives you the right to another forum.
